In October 2016 Sportszone Group resurfaced 3 tennis courts at Willoughby District Tennis Club.
The tennis courts are managed by Willoughby City Council. The previous courts were well worn and needed to be resurfaced with synthetic grass to provide a safer and truer playing surface.
We laid 19mm Supergrasse court turf on three courts and marked them up. One court was marked up for Hot Shots Tennis, which is a special modified court suitable for children aged three to nine.
The job was completed over 5 days and involved the movement of tons of sand by wheelbarrow due to difficult access to the courts. See the video for a view of the barrow trail!
